Pursuing Excellence: How Our Seven Core Values Shape Your Transformative Health

In today’s fast-paced world, many healthcare organizations struggle to deliver both exceptional medical care and meaningful human connection. At Real Health Medical, our approach to healthcare is built on a foundation of seven core values that guide everything we do. These principles shape not only how we serve our clients, but also how we grow as individuals and as a community.

As we near the end of another year together – it’s good to focus on the “why” behind what we do at Real Health Medical.  These seven core values define our clinic, shape our decisions and focus our service delivery.

#1 - Integrated Practice

#2 - Relational Community

#3 - Life-giving Speech

#4 - Personalized Care

#5 - Deliberate Discipleship

#6 - Personal Responsibility

#7 - Continual Improvement

#1. Integrated Practice: Bridging Disciplines for Holistic Care

At RHM, we recognize that health is more than just the absence of disease. By embracing an Integrated Practice Model, we combine the evidence-based practices of both conventional and alternative assessments and treatments to address the physical, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of health. Whether through collaboration between physicians, therapists, or wellness coaches, our unified approach ensures clients receive comprehensive care. We believe and have witnessed that the integrative approach yields the best results for our clients!

“Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” I Thessalonians 5:23

#2. Relational Community: Building Genuine Connections

Healing thrives in an environment of trust and connection. That’s why we prioritize cultivating a Relational Community—both among our staff and with our clients. We believe relationships are central to the healing process and we strive to create a culture where clients feel truly seen, heard, and supported every step of the way.

“Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.”  Galatians 6:2

#3. Life-Giving Speech: Words that Heal and Empower

Words have the power to build up or tear down; to harm or to heal. We believe Life-Giving Speech must always be a cornerstone of our practice. We believe the words we say reflect our hearts. “For out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.”  Matthew 12:34b

Whether communicating with clients, families, or colleagues, we strive to be intentional about using words that bring encouragement, hope, and clarity. This value builds trust and inspires hope and positivity with every interaction.

“Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each one.”  Colossians 4:6

#4. Personalized Care: Tailored to Every Individual

No two people are the same and neither are their healthcare journeys. You are unique. Your health solution should be too.  Our commitment to Personalized Care ensures that every patient receives attention and treatment plans designed specifically for their needs, preferences, and goals.

By honoring bio-individuality, we empower clients to take an active role in their own health, ensuring that we are treating the person, not the paper.  We use functional medicine principles to form the framework of our model of care and we specifically personalize a care plan for each client we serve.

It’s not about the protocol. It’s always about the person.

“For You formed me in my inward parts, you covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise you for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. How precious are your thoughts to me O, God. How vast is the sum of them.”  Psalm 139:13-14,17

#5. Deliberate Discipleship: Help to Grow Spiritually

At RHM, healthcare goes beyond treating symptoms—it’s about nurturing the whole person. Deliberate Discipleship reflects our belief in the power of a healing relationship with Jesus. Our practitioners and staff seek to grow in their relationship with God, to better understand His Word and ways, and to help our clients do the same!

Physical health and healing are simply a channel for spiritual health and healing.

We want to help clients find purpose as they navigate life’s health challenges. Through mentorship, biblical education, spiritual encouragement, and prayer, Real Health strives to both teach and live out God’s truth and love to our clients and community.

“But grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen” II Peter 3:18

#6. Personal Responsibility: Empowering Ownership of Health

True transformation begins with taking ownership of one’s health and choices. We encourage Personal Responsibility in both our clients and team members. For clients, this means empowering them to make informed decisions about their care and implementing both lifestyle and therapy protocols. For our staff, it means holding ourselves accountable for providing the highest standards of healthcare service and integrity.

“Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have received from God, and you are not your own? For you have been bought with a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit.”  I Corinthians 6:19

#7. Continual Improvement: Striving for Excellence

Integrative healthcare is an ever-evolving field, and we believe that growth is essential to staying at the forefront of innovation. Our commitment to Continual Improvement drives us to seek new knowledge, refine our methods, and embrace opportunities to do better. This mindset ensures that we remain adaptable, relevant, and capable of meeting the changing needs of our community.

Our objectives are set high with continual improvement:

  • To offer the most effective, natural therapies and protocols that treat the person rather than the condition
  • To operate efficiently as a practice from office admin to medical support staff and practitioners
  • To help train other practitioners in integrative and functional health
  • To partner with like-minded professionals for the health of the community

“Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.  I do not count myself to have apprehended; but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”  Philippians 3:12-14

A Vision for the Future

RHM’s core values aren’t just words on a wall, they are the heartbeat of who we are and how we serve. By embodying these principles, we aim to create a healthcare experience that is not only effective but also profoundly meaningful. Our mission is to transform lives one interaction at a time as we build a future where health and human connection go hand in hand.

How can these values impact your journey toward better health? Let us walk with you—because at RHM, care is more than a service; it’s a calling
