New Year & New You! – Starts with Mindset

New Year & New You! – Starts with Mindset

As the new year begins, it's an ideal time to realign our mindset, to set meaningful goals and to begin fresh. Below are affirmations, scriptures, goal-setting tips, and beliefs to help cultivate a purposeful and abundant year - shared with you from Dr. Absi at Real Health Medical!  At Real Health Medical, we believe our thoughts can bring healing when based on the truth of God’s Word and who God is to us.

We can choose our thoughts: which ones we dwell on, which ones we believe, which ones we allow to establish patterns.  Our thoughts have power.  They influence our emotions.  Emotions drive action. Our actions drive results and frame our beliefs.

Healing can often start with mindset.

Thoughts - Emotions - Actions - Results - Beliefs.  The transformative process begins with our thoughts.  We can break the cycle of defeat by retraining our brain, refocusing our thoughts, and shifting to a growth mindset.  According to Philippians 4:8, we can renew our minds by thinking on things that are:

  1. True
  2. Noble
  3. Just
  4. Pure
  5. Lovely
  6. Of good report
  7. Virtuous
  8. Praiseworthy

Intentionally choosing a Growth Mindset vs. Fixed Mindset can make all the difference!

Testimonial

A 45-year-old woman had been grieving for 2 years after having lost her mother. The grief took away her ability to do even simple, daily tasks and handicapped her from the pleasures of life.

Every day, she would come home from work, manage to have dinner, go to bed, and start over the next day. Her nights were very long as her sleep was disrupted by sad thoughts. She described herself as a zombie in that phase of her life.

This woman decided to take control and attend several ANI sessions. After only a few sessions, she was able to release the root cause of her trauma. The sessions facilitated her ability to rewire her brain to change her outlook and process the grief in a constructive and non-debilitating manner.

She is now embracing life again, taking care of herself, and engaging in many pleasant activities. Her husband has expressed the joy of “getting his wife back.”
