Maggie Wilborn, NP

My name is Maggie Wilborn and I am excited to have been part of RHM care team since April 2023. I work part time here on Mondays & Wednesdays.

Over the past 7 years in my nursing career, I have had the privilege of listening and learning from the expertise of notable practitioners, namely functional ones here at this practice, as well as in primary care, obstetric/gynecological, geriatric and pediatric settings. In my own journey of understanding the role of healer in medicine, I have increasingly become passionate that the functional setting is where true care of the family occurs.

I have a background in Medical Surgical Nursing from Georgetown University Hospital where I worked as an RN. I received my Bachelors in Nursing from Franciscan University of Steubenville and my Masters in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) concentration from Spring Arbor University. My passion to not settle for mediocrity in medicine was solidified over these years. It is clear to me that individualized care of the mind, body, and soul with a root cause analysis brings about true healing, which is not emphasized in the conventional approach to health.

I consider it a dear privilege to learn from this practices’ expertise so that I might also provide an impactful role in easing the health worries of families, prevent and manage patients physical, behavioral and developmental issues, and also impact the health of patients for the betterment of their family.

My focus areas and passion here are in pediatric care and wellness, vaccine alternatives, infertility management, nonobstetrical maternal health, metabolic disorders, weight loss, gut health and restoration, and detoxification.

As a Christian practitioner and knowing how attacked the family is in today’s culture, my dear hope is to partake in the incredible opportunity to be the healing hands of Christ and help strengthen the family when health has become an impeding factor to be exactly who He’s meant you to be. When I’m not in clinic, you’ll find me enjoying life with my practically perfect husband and our 3 larger than life toddlers. I have been given handfuls of Aces from the Lord and I only desire to give what I can in His name.
